Advisory Board

Roles will be to help guide our Community Interest Company with governance and to charity status, as well as giving advice and support every three months on a management level.

Your role may also require you to vote on subjects such as expenses and on the best interest of Swindon Sisters Alliance. Your role will be as a critical friend to our organisation and to help us grow with professional help and guidance, all in the best interest of the community we support.

Advisory Board roles will be non-executive and NOT legal requirements as Directors on Companies House.

  • Solicitor
  • Fundraiser
  • Website and social media management
  • Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
  • Domestic abuse advisor
  • Mental health advisor

Non-Executive Director

Directors can only be voted in by our existing Directors and our Non-Executive Directors on Companies House. This may also include advice from our Advisory Board. To be elected, they will have served on our Advisory Team.
