Our first Christmas event was located at the Wyvern Theatre, to watch the pantomime Jack and The Beanstalk.
We gifted out a total of 108 tickets to service users of Nelson Trust, Wiltshire Women Empowerment Program and our own service users, all living in Swindon.
All families are chosen by our team and professional organisations, ensuring these go to the most needed families and working together to gift these out to families.
All tickets booked were per family household, so none of the families were seated together, furthering our commitment to an independent family day out with their loved ones and children. Keeping their privacy and family time private is crucial for us.
We were so pleased to be gifted 24 tickets to benefit our families, where they had a fun-filled day making happy new memories. We would like to thank 4 Kingdoms Adventure Park for their support, in collaborating to serve our community.
This included action-packed entertainment shows, playing in the park, food, seeing Santa, Christmas gifts and our children making teddies. We really got to see first-hand what a difference we can make to families and their children when organisations collaborate.
Over 20 volunteers and staff came together to help pack gift bags. TSB helped us with a Toy Appeal and we also gave sweet hampers. We helped support 55 of our service users with toys, treats and not forgetting mums and dads’ gifts. Thank you to TSB for helping us and our families. Chartz Hairdressers service in Gorsehill also gifted 3 haircut vouchers to our families, so a huge thank you for your support.
